The Valo Intranet team is really excited about a Corona release! We would like to introduce you the new Lumen UI, the completely new user interface of Valo Intranet. In this release is also other interesting improvements like a new way of publishing and reading news, and information grouped into categories that helps you find the relevant information easier.
Another theme to choose
From now on, you can choose from two different user interfaces: Lumen UI or Candela UI, the previous one. Lumen UI theme is a brand new and flat-design UI with more visual elements. Whichever UI theme you choose, the look and feel of the user interface will be customisable. So your intranet will always look unique and has the same brand identity like your company. For instance, the final layout of the front page, like the colors, company logo, and many other topics are decided upon during the delivery project.
New way of publishing and reading news
Lumen theme has a unique news publishing logic. The large, boxed elements on top of the page are highlighted news and they are included in the Advanced News add-on. Regular news are displayed under the title News on the left hand side.
Information grouped into categories
The rest of the front page elements are grouped under categories to make finding and using the information easier. Categories can be named for example: Current, People and Discussion. These categories and their content are configurable.
Stable and continuosly improving product
In addition to Lumen theme, our team has worked hard to keep our product stable and free of bugs. In this release, we have published a total number of 49 fixes to bugs and usability issues.
