Valo is an award-winning digital workplace solution on SharePoint and Office 365. We are looking for a Technical Sales Representative for our growing and dynamic Valo Team. The preferred location for this position is our office in Montreal, Canada.
Job Description – Technical Sales Representative
You will work closely with our Certified Valo Partners, and end customers. You will be the partners’ main point of contact in sales – replying to demo requests, doing product demos, guiding partners and customers through licensing and pricing, performing sales pipeline updates with the partners and winning deals with our partners.
A vast majority of the day-to-day work is performed online. Traveling to community events is possible but not required. The job location is ideally in our Montréal office but potentially anywhere in Canada or the USA. Depending on your interests and strengths, you will also have the opportunity to participate in sales process development, partner acquisition and onboarding, and marketing activities.
Skills and experience required
1-2 years of experience in solution sales. Perhaps you are a junior sales representative who wants to “go big”. Or maybe you are an Office 365 consultant or a Project Manager who is looking to switch to a technical sales position. You have the will to close good deals, an overall understanding of and passion for technology, and the ability to perform software product demos and talk about technology and architectures. Ideally, you have experience in selling intranet portals and digital workplaces. We value your knowledge of SharePoint and Office 365 technologies.
Language skills: English required, French and Spanish a plus.
